Second: I wouldn't hug Redcloak because I find him, his means and his ends, kinda repulsive. But, I must respect his commitment. I could look at it with gruff approval.

Third, in topic: I feel that Redcloak missed a great opportunity as a goblin when he rebutted his brother's wife's cousin's blind date (Wow. Some 's). There was no reason not to have a life and a high goal. He chosed to be grumpy, close minded, self-deprecating loner.
I'd like to see him following his road to serve the Dark One with a loving, strong and faithful wife, instead of... well, Xykon.

You've got it mixed up. Right-Eye was the one who suggested teaming up with Xykon and Redcloak was the one who wanted to keep looking for a goblinoid arcane caster. Which is just the dark icing on the tragedy cake that is Redcloak's life.

I'm not sure how many people are familiar with the show, and she's not really a villain, but Seladon from The Dark Crystal: Age of Resistance reminds me of him a bit. The Lawful Neutral princess of poor decisions and sunk-costs. Also they both desperately need a hug.

The problem with characters from external media is it's pretty boring for the people who don't know who they are. Chincaa, don't worry about drawing that one, I will just close my eyes and imagine what could be or maybe draw it myself.

Updated Belkar/Redcloak hug request: They're both hugging in the middle, clearly uncomfortable with it, but Roy and Durkon are watching from the sides - Roy checking Belkar for treachery, Durkon just overwhelmingly happy at the proof of alliance.

OOTS' villains are very well-written. I am amazed at how Redcloak is a multi-faceted, interesting, complex and sympathetic yet extremely flawed villain. He's probably one of the better-written "sympathetic villains" I've come across. (Sorry to derail the thread from hugging RC to praising his character, but I love this comic and I had to get it out of my system.)
