Caveat Emptor: The counterfeiter may attempt to disguise an item. If the Master Counterfeiter's disguise check beats the buyer's spot, the counterfeit may be sold for the original's price.

Plaster and twine: When crafting a counterfeit, the final item price is reduced by 50% of the normal item's price. This effects the crafting time and materials cost.

Feeble Forgery: Counterfeit tools, weapons, and armor behave as items with the feeble forgery penalty to all rolls involving them, skill checks, attack and damage rolls, ac bonus, max dex, hardness and hit points. In all other respects, treat the forgeries as the originals.

Master of all Fakery: The Master Counterfeiter may use any craft bonus he has to make any other kind of craft check.

Pride of an artist: You may make masterwork quality counterfeits. These provide normal masterwork bonuses, and the crafting time and cost of materials are as masterwork items, subject to any discounts the counterfeiter normally has.

Pastecraft: A Master Counterfeiter may make Sovereign Glue, even if they don't meet the normal prerequisites.

Deadline: When crafting counterfeits, the Master Counterfeiter makes twice as much progress/time as usual.

False Craftsmanship: When making counterfeits, the Master Counterfeiter may add their forgery skill ranks as an insight bonus to their craft check.

Improved Pride of an Artist: Counterfeits are now of suitable quality for enchantment.

Paste Construction: When making a counterfeit, a Master Counterfeiter may use 1 ounce of Sovereign Glue per cubic foot of the item to be crafted to increase the progress/time by a factor of 2.

Wire and Paper: The final item price of counterfeits is reduced to 25% of normal, as in Plaster and twine.

Improved Deadline: The Master Counterfeiter now makes 3.5 times as much progress as usual. (Replace progress/day with progress/week for easy calculation of the effect of all Deadline abilities)

Spit and Polish: The final item price of counterfeits is reduced to 1/8 of normal, as in Plaster and twine.

Improved Paste Construction:As Paste Construction, but the multiplier is x4.

Supreme Deadline: The Master Counterfeiter now makes 2 times as much progress as usual. (Double the progress/week and use as progress/day for easy calculation)

Spell Lists:

Hmm, how does this interact with the fact that PCs can only sell things back for half the base price? Yes, I know it's a silly rule, but a rule's a rule...unless this PrC comes with a nifty houserule...

You still sell at half the base price, but you use the base price of the item you're duplicating.

...seem to be in need of some severe clarification. I would usually try to postulate as to what you were aiming to achieve, but to tell the truth, in this particualr instance I'm at a complete loss. :smallconfused:

With the craft skill, you make a certain number of silver pieces per day or week of progress. When making a forgery of an item, you make much more progress than would be normal.

E.g. making a masterwork dagger copy with a level 10 counterfeiter:

Base price 300.5 gp.
Reduced price from Spit & Polish 37.56 gp.
Materials cost 12.5 gp.

Crafting progress = 20(craft swordsmith)+20(forgery)+10(take 10)*DC 45 check=2250 sp per week, or 225 gp.

225 / 37.56 = 6 copies per week.
*2*3.5*2 = *14 = 84 copies per week. (The Deadline Powers)
With sovereign glue, 168 copies.
Or about 1 copy per 20 minutes.

Well, that seems to make a little sense, but still, the abilitie entries as written are confusing at best. I was humbly suggesting that an attempt to clarify them be made. Tis all.
