Elemental Comixture text (https://www.d20pfsrd.com/feats/teamwork-feats/elemental-commixture-teamwork/) (is a long one).

Questions that have come up during this feat in play is if Elemental Comixture is used with spells that have a duration (such as Ball Lightning), does the secondary effect produced from the feat repeat itself each time the spell takes effect on the caster's turn, or is it a once-off effect. The text doesn't clarify it one way or another except for "Targeted creatures can attempt a saving throw against the primary spell as normal (assuming that a save is normally allowed), and then attempt a separate save against the secondary effect."

Ball Lightning doesn't target an area or creatures, it is an "Effect" spell, so it isn't affected by Comixture. The same way, Fire Breath (allows you to breath fire for a few rounds) works as normal, but since the target is "you", you are the one affected by the secondary effect of Comixture. For spells that do target areas and affect creatures in rounds following their casting, like for example Burning Oil (people in the area take 4d6, then 2d6 every round for a few rounds), the secondary effect affects people when they become targets of the spell, and since the feat doesn't mention being affected or damaged by the spell, they only suffer the effect once, when they first become targets. In the case of an area spell, people are affected anytime they enter the area of effect and hence become targets of the effect, even in rounds after the casting.
