So the druid in the new dnd movie druid turned into a Owlbear...

Circle of the Unnamed Owlbear Druid

Druids of the unnamed Owlbear Druid Druid follow in the footsteps of their unnamed druid founder who for some reason had the ability to shapeshift into a owlbear. They have the power to turn into a owlbear for unknown reasons. Unknown thought those reasons may be, they are very good reasons, and as such all members of this circle can turn into owlbears.

Owlbear Shape
When you choose this circle at 2nd level you gain the ability to assume the shape resembling a Owlbear for unknown reasons. As a bonus action you can expend a use of your wild shape feature too transform into a beast like form for 10 minutes or until you exit the form as an bonus action. You cannot speak or cast spells while in this form, and all equipment you are wearing or carrying melds into your new form becoming nonfunctional until you exit this form. You gain the following benefits while in this form.

When you enter this form you gain temporary hit points equal to twice your druid level + your wisdom modifier which last until you exit this form.
You can make a unarmed strike with your claws which deal 1d8 slashing or bludgeoning damage or with your beak which deals 1d8 piercing damage. You can use your spell attack modifier when making attacks with these unarmed stikes.
You gain darkvision out to 60 feet.
Your move speed increases to 40 feet.
When you take the attack action and only attack with your unarmed strikes you can make a attack with your unarmed strike as a bonus action.
Your armor class is equal to 10 + your dexterity modifier + your proficiency bonus unless it would be higher.
You can use your strength modifier in place of your wisdom modifier for any strength skill or ability checks or strength saving throws.

Keen Senses
From 2nd level you have advantage on wisdom (perception) and intelligence (investigation) checks which rely on sight or smell.

Improved Owlbear Shape
From 6th level your power of Owlbear Shaping becomes stronger for unknown reasons. When you assume your Owlbear Shape you can choose to become large for the duration. Additionally your unarmed strikes ignore resistance and immunity to nonmagical bludgeoning, piercing, and slashing damage while in your Owlbear shape, and their damage die becomes 2d8.

Owlbear Endurance
At 10th level you gain the ability to assume the durability of a Owlbear for unknown reasons. You gain proficiency in constitution and strength saving throws if you didn't have them already. You can also remain in your Owlbear shape for up too 1 hour instead of 10 minutes.

Owlbear Savagery
From 14th level you gain the ability to strengthen your Owlbear form greatly. When you assume your Owlbear Shape you can choose to become huge for the duration, which makes no sense but it's best not to question it. When you take the attack action while in your Owlbear Shape you can attack twice instead of once. You also gain a fly speed of 30 feet while in Owlbear Shape, which really makes no sense but questioning it at this point is very ill advised.

And that is why I liked 4e druids. You can look however you want in your beast form while pulling off some crazy powers. One player liked their panther form, and would often use a swarm power that would turn themselves into a “swarm” of kittens.
