Hello fellows,
I am currently searching for a PrC for my Bard; searching around I discovered Seeker of the Truth PrC, which I found nice as a concept but with not very useful content.
So, I decided to bring a favorite character from another RPG to the DND world; Meet the Swordsinger!
Swordsinger is a semi tank bard (good AC+plate armor+will+fortitude) with the ability to buff his allies with his singing abilities.
It’s similar as a concept to the SotS , but I removed the refrain part and added the ability to wear medium or heavy armor with half the ACF penalty. Also, I adjusted the BAB, Will and Fort.
I am definitely looking forward for some feedback.

PS: Be lenient as this is my first attempt!

Rapture of the Song (Su): A swordsinger is so in tune with the power of music that he gains special insight, physical fortitude, and resistance to magic while in the throes of his song. A swordsinger gains a +2 insight bonus to Armor Class whenever he uses his bardic music ability, swordsinger music, or a similar ability.
At 4th level and higher, a swordsinger also gains a +2 insight bonus on saving throws whenever he uses his bardic music ability, swordsinger music, or a similar ability.
At 7th level and higher, a swordsinger also gains damage reduction 2/? whenever he uses his bardic music ability, swordsinger music, or a similar ability.
At 10th level, a swordsinger gains these abilities and also acts as though affected by a freedom of movement spell whenever he uses his bardic music ability, swordsinger music, or a similar ability.

Swordsinger Music: A swordsinger can use music or poetics to produce magical effects. Swordsinger music follows the same rules as bardic music (see page 29 of the Player?s Handbook). Each use of swordsinger music costs one daily use of bardic music to activate. Swordinger levels stack with bard levels for purposes of determining how many daily uses of bardic music and swordsinger music the character has and to determine the value of the bonus granted by inspire courage (if the Swordsinger has that bardic music ability).

Song of Hunter (Su): A swordsinger with 14 or more ranks in a Perform skill can narrate the mythical tales of Orion the Hunter. While a swordsinger sings this song, he and all of his allies within 30 feet who can hear him double their chance to land a critical hit. An ally benefits from this effect for as long as it can hear the swordsinger sing and 5 more rounds after.

Song of Wind (Su): A swordsinger with 15 or more ranks in a Perform skill can play an allegro song similar to the sounds of wind. While a swordsinger sings this song, he and all of his allies within 30 feet who can hear him gain 10 extra feet of movement speed. An ally benefits from this effect for as long as it can hear the swordsinger sing and 5 more rounds after.

Song of Invocation (Su): A swordsinger with 16 or more ranks in a Perform skill can narrate the story of Pelor to evoke a divine aura. While a swordsinger sings this song, he and all of his allies within 30 feet who can hear him gain resistance to evil 10 (DR). An ally benefits from this effect for as long as it can hear the swordsinger sing and 5 more rounds after.

Song of Life (Su): A swordsinger with 17 or more ranks in a Perform skill can use fragments of music to protect and rejuvenate his allies. While a swordsinger sings this song, he and all of his allies within 30 feet who can hear him gain immunity to poison and disease.
Also, any affected ally who casts any conjuration (healing) spell gains additionally 1d8 points of healing + 1 point per caster level (maximum +15) and are cured of any of the following conditions: exhausted, fatigued, nauseated, paralyzed, sickened, or stunned. This ability has no effect on spells cast from wands, scrolls, or other magic items.
In addition, if you use this ability for at least 1 minute before you and your allies retire for the night, everyone in the group heals naturally at the end of the rest as if he had completed 24 hours of best rest (thus recovering twice his character level in hit points). An ally benefits from this effect for as long as it can hear the swordsinger sing and 5 more rounds after.

Song of Earth (Su): A swordsinger with 18 or more ranks in a Perform skill can narrate the mythical tales of Grumbar the embodiment of the earth. While a swordsinger sings this song, he and all of his allies within 30 feet who can hear him gain +3 AC (+6 on arrows and projectiles). An ally benefits from this effect for as long as it can hear the swordsinger sing and 5 more rounds after.

Song of Elemental (Su): A swordsinger with 19 or more ranks in a Perform skill tells the story of elemental planes and gains control over the elements of nature. While a swordsinger sings this song, he and all of his allies within 30 feet who can hear him gain resistance to all attacks (physical or magical) based on elements fire / water / earth / wind / ice / smoke / ooze / magma 15 (DR) [not positive/negative involved planes eg electricity]. An ally benefits from this effect for as long as it can hear the swordsinger sing and 5 more rounds after.

Song of Vitality (Su): A swordsinger with 20 or more ranks in a Perform skill can tell the mythical tales of mighty Titans with supernatural endurance. While a swordsinger sings this song, he and all of his allies within 30 feet who can hear him gain +4 CON temporarily. An ally benefits from this effect for as long as it can hear the swordsinger sing and 5 more rounds after.

Song of Silence (Su): A swordsinger with 21 or more ranks in a Perform skill commands the surrounding enemies either sing or stay silent. While a swordsinger sings this song, any enemy within 30 feet attempting to cast a spell during a jarring song must make a Concentration check with a DC equal to the swordsinger's Perform check to avoid losing the spell (DC 10+Perform). The enemy must succeed the check for as long as it can hear the swordsinger sing and 5 more rounds after. An enemy with the ability to Melodically Cast doesn't need to pass a check.

Song of Vengeance (Su): A swordsinger with 22 or more ranks in a Perform skill can call the grace of St. Cuthbert of the Cudgel to protect his allies, containing them in an invisible spiked aura. While a swordsinger sings this song, he and all of his allies within 30 feet who can hear him gain the ability to reflect damage equal to the STR mod of the attacker x d6. An ally benefits from this effect for as long as it can hear the swordsinger sing and 5 more rounds after.
The effect applies only for melee/physical based attacks, even if they are imbued with elemental magic. The reflected damage carries the same properties with the attacker's [eg the attacker wields a fire based magical sword. The reflected damage is also fire based. If the attacker is immune to fire it takes no damage. If the attacker has fire DR the damage is filtered through it].

Song of Purification (Su): A swordsinger with 23 or more ranks in a Perform skill, once a day, concentrates all his powers to sing the tales of his life in order to fortify and strengthen his allies.
The swordsinger rolls a D100 and picks 80 to attempt purification to all allies within 30 feet. If he succeeds, he purges all abnormal state debuffs (eg stun/poison/paralyze/command etc). If he fails the purification effect is not applied.
In any case, while a swordsinger sings this song, he and all of his allies within 30 feet who can hear him gain full immunity on any physical (Fort) or magical (Will) debuff for the next 5 rounds. Additionally, any affected ally who casts any conjuration (healing) spell gains 1D20 on healing + 1 point per caster lvl (maximum +35) (the song does not stack with Song of life). This song is a swift action and lasts for 5 rounds. This ability can be used once per day.

Combine Songs (Ex): A Swordsinger of 2nd level or higher can combine two types of bardic music or Swordsinger music to provide the benefits of both. The Swordsinger chooses two music abilities and activates both using the same standard action. If either or both require concentration, the Swordsinger can maintain concentration on both by using one standard action each round to concentrate. The normal stacking rules for bonus types apply to music abilities combined with this ability.

Subvocalize (Ex): At 5th level and highis, a Swordsinger can begin a new bardic music or Swordsinger music song as a swift action (see page 86). A Swordsinger can use this ability only if he already has one (and only one) bardic music or Swordsinger music ability already active. A Swordsinger can use this ability in conjunction with the combine songs ability to start a second song and then maintain both as a standard action each round (as per the combine songs ability).

Ex-SwordsingersLike a member of any other prestige class, a Swordsinger can take levels in other classes after entering the Swordsinger class, but Swordsingers face a special restriction. A Swordsinger who gains a level in any other class after having gained his first Swordsinger level can never again raise his Swordsinger level, though he retains the Swordsinger abilities he has already earned. The path of the Swordsinger demands constant attention and devotion. If a character adopts this prestige class, he must pursue it to the exclusion of all other careers.

Notes: Lingering song doubles the duration (except song of Purification) / Words of creation & magic spells or items don't synergize with SwS music.

Edit: Sorry for the image, couldn't fix the table properly!
