Did they ever put out a soundtrack to the old Rankin Bass Return of the King cartoon? My google-fu is weak, and I haven't been able to find it.

Edit: After an extended search, I have found some discussions along the lines of this soundtrack being nigh-unobtainable on CD. Is this still the case?

Yes they did, on vinyl record. I don't know if there was ever a CD.

well...there are you-tube clips of the musical scenes...if your AV-fu is good, you can always find a way to rip the audio track off of those.

Unfortunately, my AV-fu is weak. also, the song I most want "towers of the teeth", has dialogue breaking it up, and I can't find any unbroken tracks of it on youtube.

Here (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jVgZDcUQPEY) is the original scene (with dialogue) if anyone else wants to watch it, and here (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YdXQJS3Yv0Y)'s When There's A Whip There's A Way.
