The Flip Side agency is known for their playing both sides, investigating not just those they are paid to, but their clients as well. The Agency was founded by Emily Granger, a spy and user of magic that is always ahead of the game. Few secrets are hidden from the agency, with their invisible agents from the plane of air and astral plane, who correspond to an agent somewhere in the field. Granger is know to work alone, trusitng only Mr. Johnathin Tremain. Her gadgets are her friends, and she is known to carry around several magic items that makes killing her virtually impossible, her magic and gadgetry combining into a mighty combination.


Perks

Salary
You are paid 1 gp per day while working for Emily. Miss Granger's Jobs are often one-off quests, but occasionally involve complex jobs involving many moving parts.

Immunity
While working for the agency, you are occasionally granted a job with immunity, meaning that if anything illegal happens, you will not be prosecuted

Resources
These spies investigate anything, anything at all, and do so obsessively. They rarely write things down, but if an agent likes you, you can pull some secrets out of them.

Security
Your patron has safe houses guarded by spies, automated cannons, and with escape tunnels that go on for miles. You can live a modest lifestyle here at half the cost, and while doing so you are in no danger.

Legendary Resistance (3/day). If Emily fails a saving throw, it can choose to succeed instead.
Spellcasting. Emily is a 14th-level spellcaster. Her spellcasting ability is Intelligence (spell save DC 24, +16 to hit with spell attacks). Emily knows the following spells:

Cantrips (at will): Eldrich Blast, Mage Hand, Minor illusion, Prestidigitation, Guidance
1st level (4 slots): Shield, Silvery barbs, Detect Magic, Disguise Self
2nd level (3 slots): Suggestion, Invisibility, Pass without trace, Misty Step, Knock
3rd level (3 slots): Lightning Bolt, Hypnotic Pattern, Thunder Step, Blink
4th level (3 slots): Dimension door, Greater Invisibility, Vitriolic Sphere
5th level (3 slots): Far Step, Cone of Cold, Wall of Force, Animate Objects, Bigby's Hand
6th level (1 slot): Scatter, Disintegrate
7th level (1 slot): Prismatic Spray, Teleport
Ambusher. Any creature she has surprised has disadvantage on saving throws against her spells for 1 minute.
Cunning Action. On each of her turns, Emily's can use a bonus action to take the Dash, Disengage, or Hide action, or use her mage hand.
Evasion. If Emily is subjected to an effect that allows her to make a Dexterity saving throw to take only half damage, Emily instead takes no damage if she succeeds on the saving throw, and only half damage if she fails.
Sneak Attack (1/Turn). Emily deals an extra 10d6 damage when she hits a target with an attack and has advantage on the attack roll, or when the target is within 5 ft. of an ally of Emily that isn't incapacitated, and Emily doesn't have disadvantage on the attack roll.
Mage Hand Ledgerdomain. When Emily casts mage hand she can do so as a bonus action, the spectral hand is invisible, it does not require concentration, and she can perform the following actions with it:

Put an object in a container another creature is carrying, she must succeed on a sleight of hand check contested by the wearer's perception to do so unnoticed.

Remove an object from a container another creature is carrying, she must succeed on a sleight of hand check contested by the wearer's perception to do so unnoticed.

Give herself advantage on all attack rolls she makes this round against a creature within 5 ft of the hand, and

Disarm a trap using thieves tools.
Reliable Talent. Emily can never roll lower than a 10 on an ability check.
Elusive. No attack roll against her has advantage while she is not incapacitated.
Stroke of Luck (1/day). If Emily misses an attack roll, she may choose to hit instead. If she fails an ability check, she may choose to succeed instead.
Flash of Genius (6/day). Emily adds 6 to any attack roll, ability check, or saving throw she makes.

Reference Tattoo
Emily has a strange tattoo, wrapping around her entire body. Only creatures she trusts can see it, but while she has it, she has the following abilities:
Sly Smirk: She knows the Charm Person spell and can cast it at will, targeting up to 7 creatures within range.
Black Leather Stealth: She has advantage on stealth checks while wearing her signature black leather.
Never Been a Nun: When she finishes a long rest, she may choose to learn 3 cleric spells of her choice of a level she can cast until she next finishes a long rest.
The Wizarding World When she finishes a long rest, she may choose to learn 3 wizard or sorcerer spells of her choice of a level she can cast until she next finishes a long rest.
Not a Muggle, that's for sure When she finishes a long rest, she may choose to learn 3 metamagic options of her choice, she has 10 sorcery points with which to use them. She knows these until she next finishes a long rest.
Loyal Socialite She has advantage on persuasion and performance checks and disadvantage on deception checks with the tattoos.
Four sisters, One left She knows the Speak with Dead, augury, commune, and divination spells, and can cast them once each without expending a spell slot. None of these spells allow communication with her sisters though.

Actions
Multiattack. Emily makes 4 force ballista or Force Bash attacks
Force Ballista. Ranged Spell Attack: +16 to hit, range 300 ft., one target. Hit: 4d8+9 Force damage.
Force Bash. Melee Weapon Attack: +16 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 4d10+9 Force damage.

Reactions
Spell Thief Immediately after a creature casts a spell that targets Emily or includes her in its area of effect, Emily can use her reaction to force that creature to succeed on a Dc 24 saving throw using their spellcasting ability. If that creature fails, it cannot cast that spell for 8 hours. During that period, Emily can cast the spell once without expending a spell slot, and afterward can cast it using her spell slots. Emily can use this three times and regains all uses when she finishes a long rest.
Uncanny Dodge. As a reaction, Emily can halve damage she takes until the end of the current turn.
Flash of Genius (6/day). Emily adds 6 to any attack roll, ability check, or saving throw she or an ally within sight of her makes.

Legendary Actions
Emily can take 3 legendary actions, choosing from the options below. Only one legendary action option can be used at a time and only at the end of another creature's turn. Emily regains spent legendary actions at the start of her turn.

Force Ballista. Ranged Spell Attack: +13 to hit, range 300 ft., one target. Hit: 3d8+6 Force damage.
Force Bash. Ranged Spell Attack: +13 to hit, range 300 ft., one target. Hit: 3d8+6 Force damage.
Spellcasting (Costs 2 actions). Emily uses spellcasting.
Escapist (Costs 3 actions) Emily casts Dimension Door without expending a spell slot.

Magic Items: Emma is attuned to a Wand of Tricksy Escapes and a Rod of Absorption, which are her arcane cannons; she is also attuned to a ring of spell storing, a ring of shooting stars, a Ring of Fire Elemental Command (She has killed a fire elemental while wearing the ring), and a Hat of Disguise
