if you are femiliar with DM genie (if not, google it). they let you have monsters as PC, one differencethough is they give medusa a +0 LA instead of no LA. is this acurate, if not what would a good LA be?
any help is apreacheated greatly.

well, 0 LA but 6 racial hit die...
I guess that doesn't seem too messed up.

You left out one of the most important details, though.
Like, gaze, for example.

Not sure how helpful this is, but if you're looking for a way for a player to be a medusa with no LA or RHD, I made a watered-down version of them a little while ago as a PC race here (http://www.giantitp.com/forums/showthread.php?t=61199&highlight=stheno).

Savage Species gives them a LA of +4.
