It's a beautiful day for Jeremy Delcarte, a little red hair kid who play outside. His lizard run after him and jump on the little bag of his master. The little wizard turn on him to benefied of all ray of the sun. He goes to the library and take some book and put them on his bagage. He returnes outside, smile and sniff some fresh air. He plays a little with Goo, his familiar, and laugh a lot. When he want to comeback to his orphanage he saw a group of people walking in the street and they go to the castle. In that mass, he say a familiar face, Sparrow the friendly Bard. He run after him and scream. "He-oh! Sparrow!" He fall on the ground when he want to come near of his ''old friend".

After the palace guard delivered the King's request to Sparrow, he escorted him to Elizabetha Square where he met a handful of other persons, each similarly surprised that they had been summoned by the King. He had only just made their acquaintance and begun walking with them toward the palace when he heard the familiar voice of Jeremy, one of the boys from the orphanage.

"Pardon me for a moment folks."

"Jeremy, are you alright?" Sparrow jogs towards the lad.

You want to see my nurse, Barbara? You want to teach me some trick? You want to play a song to me? You want to make some new friend? You want to help someone? Oh-oh! You here for play with my little and awsome lizard, Goo? You here for pray Pelor? You want to visit the library and read some book? Or you have a gift for my birthday?" Wandering along with the others, Kroatan thinks about the invitation from the king.

'I wonder what happend to the kings daughter... hmmm. I have no idea how he even knows about me, perhaps he had one of his servants regulary buying some of the raw meat i sell sometimes... '

Just in that moment, Sparrow tells him and the rest of the group to wait and sees him jogging off.

As he looks after Sparrow he sees him talking to a little redhaired boy. Or rather, the little boy talking very fast to sparrow while apparently being quite excited.

"Ah, i guess Sparrow is talking to one of the orphans. You know, he regulary tells them storys and stuff and... well, anyways - I'll see what this is about. Just wait here for a moment."

Leaving his donkey with the rest of the group, he slowly walks towards Sparrow and the boy, but then he already notices sparrow turning arround and walking back to the group. As they walk together, he asks Sparrow:

"One of the kids from the orphanage, mmh? What did he ask you?"

And though I don't know the stories of you good people yet, I can assure you I have no idea why the King would summon me. Why not leave the matter to the royal troops? Do any of you know any more details?

Kargin Runethane

To say that Kargin walked along in silence would be a blatant lie unlike any that one could ever be told without somehow breaking a Zone of Truth a couple miles away. While it was true he didn't say much thanks to a limited vocabulary he made enough noise with all the clanging of his armor that a deaf man could pinpoint him from a mile away. When addressed by Sparrow he glanced towards the bard through his visored helm, "I don't know. I'm a healer. I fix people. Maybe he thinks she needs me to heal her when we find her? Morenlikely he wants me to keep you all fixed so you guys can find her that much faster."

Not having noticed the palace yet, Kroatan looks confused at Jeremy: "Huh? You know the king?" He looks at him with disbelief.

Taking a short look at the guard, he says: "Hello, the king wanted to see us."

Erm, about the letter part... i guess since my character can't read (singleclassed barbarians are illiterate) he guessed where it says anything about the princess being missing and got lucky - or somebody read it to him before, and has been showing him, kinda "see? Thats the part where it says he wants you to save the king". Well, that or he completly failed at hiding it, and the guard already knew about the princess.

Yes, Kothrag. I'd appreciate it if you used it; not "dwarf." Do I look so short to you? If anything, gnomes should be called "dwarves" - barely more than a yard - our yards, that is. Really, now...

Er, what, the king? What the heck could a King want with me?! It can't be because he's heard of me, or else he'd just throw my but in prison and be done with it. So what if I did a little Arson, nobody knew it was me, and I was saving the gold from that safe in the burning building. The fact that the two were happening at the same time doesn't mean anything. Chuckling a little at his rememberance of that time, and other times like it, the little Kobold walked up the the castle gates. Pulling out the note that was sent to him, he flashed it at the guards and kept walking not waiting for a response.

Walking straight foward, not taking any turns in the hallways, knowing how castles are usually built (not from audiences with he king either). Being a rather small person, he waited at the door for someone to assist him in opening it. Not because he couldn't, but because he didn't feel like exerting himself at the moment. He did mildly wonder if the guards had been following him the entire way or not, he didn't really care. After all, this time he wasn't stealing anything.

Following, unnoticed, on the tail of the first Kobold (Rhadamanthys chuckled at the pun), came as second figure. He wears swathed in a worn, but nonetheless evidently high-quality robe, of a pale blue, but his reptilian, dragon-blooded nature was nonetheless obvious - the slightly bouncing, hopping stride gave enough hint to any observer - to say nothing of the large, obvious tail, that balanced out behind it.

He creeps up behind the Kobold waiting at the door, and suddenly, unexpectedly, pipes up with

Greetings, sir! May I assume that you too have received the call from the king of this land?

He brandishes a small not poking out from a scroll case.

OOC @ Draik:
I think Klern is waiting for your action.

Inspire Courage (Su): A bard with 3 or more ranks in a Perform skill can use song or poetics to inspire courage in his allies (including himself), bolstering them against fear and improving their combat abilities. To be affected, an ally must be able to hear the bard sing. The effect lasts for as long as the ally hears the bard sing and for 5 rounds thereafter.
So that means you can stop playing music now and start kicking ass. :smallwink:

Kothrag is relatively safe from trouble, but he winces at the savage hits the half-orc takes. Frowning even more deeply, he takes up the small crossbow from a hook on his backpack and puts a bolt into it loading it frantically...

(move action to take up the crossbow, move action to load... drat, I guess he puts down the wand first. If I forget to mention picking it up, he will do so!)

The shiny kobold just a little annoyed.

These zombies were bad enough to start with - they, however, were just zombies, they were animated, don't blame them, blame the animator - but there is something about the site of them drawing blood from his new friends that angers him.

With a tiny, high-pitched, squeal of rage, he whips the blade back across the zombie closest to him.
