Depends on how the groups were formed. If they are put together from friends you've known a while then they tend to be closer in age. If the group is friends you've met at your local LFGS then the age varies more. If you make up a group from random applicants, much like a pick up group at a convention or at a LFGS then the age range is unlimited.

In three groups I play in, 2 online, one in person, the age ranges in the groups are about 5 years, 30 years and 45 years between oldest and youngest players.

The current age range of our Salt Marsh group is 25-63, with a few members in their 30's, 40's, 50's ...
The key issue is: find a group of people who play together well. :smallsmile:
