Edit - just reread the bayonet, and it clearly can be set against charge so that question is rendered moot.
However, the second has some value still. Based on the pics, they actually have handles. Would you be able to wield it as a sword/dagger when not attached?
I am tempted to enchant a drow long knife (which does damage as a short sword), and have it modified to act as a sword bayonet. Does that make sense? Drow long knife costs 15, sword bayonet costs 4 - so I just added the two values to get a cost of 19 (preenchant, post would be 319 for masterwork + 8000 for +2 (+1 smoking))
Should be nice with Steadfast boots so he can stick anyone charging for double damage.
