OOTS 469 (discussion) - Why didn't Belkar take damage?

Why did Belkar not take any damage from the fireball? They even comment on this, as if it's going to be a plot point, but it's never brought up again.

Rangers get evasion at 9th level:

And Belkar is a multiclass Ranger/Barbarian, mostly Ranger.

In the future you can check the OotS wiki if you are confused about a DnD rule, reference etc you don't understand. In the pages for individual comic pages there usually is an explanation, including comic 469. You don't need to ask the forums every time you don't understand a rule etc.

In fact, I recommend that once you've read all the released comics once, you should read them again using the wiki as reference, I personally missed a ton of details I never realised until I did that
