I am playing an adventure on a Fay "infested" wood.
I want a humorous encounter with Fay, but Dryads seem a bit "serious".
What would be a good "prankster" type of fay?

For those that played Pathfinder: Kingmaker, I was thinking something like that. Since fay are reborn, their pranks are usually cruel.
Any cool Ideas for moderatly unknown types of fay?

Because they've got a compendium for everything (https://forums.giantitp.com/showthread.php?226612-3-5-The-Fey-Compendium) out here...

It's not a fey by RAW, but check out the Taunting Haunt from MMV! Great flavor, interesting mechanics, you can restat it with fey RHD (probably fine to keep the same amount) or just keep it undead and fluff it as the malevolent remnant of a dead faerie.

You can also find some stuff (maybe have to refluff it) in the Divine Prankster PrC since it's gnome-locked IIRC

Just out of the to of my head:
Pixies
Grigs
Satyres

All from the basic MM. Though not "less known", they my fit pranksters well.

Petals are tiny pranksters, they send travellers to sleep with a lullaby and then

Steal their clothes and hide them somewhere nearby to watch them panic when they wake up

Not quite Fay, but they do have Faerie in their name...
Faerie Dragons!

Nothing like randomly dropping a grease spell while invisible and then giggling about it (outside of combat, that is)
