Hey, if anyone is interested in an horror/comedy in the vein of Evil Dead (ie. buffoonish hero goes up against supernatural forces), this movie was pretty decent. A little gross at times, but well-paced and genuinely funny.

I saw it last night on Shudder.

I liked it. The protagonist was soooo unlikable tho. Y ou almost want to see the ghosts give him a kicking.

Weirdly, I’ve heard some people say that Shawn was actually likeable, or that they wanted him to succeed.

The spirits definitely gave him a good ass-whopping, but what do you think happened at the end?

I figure the ghosts killed Shawn, either because they were violently insane or because it was the only way to free themselves from the house.

They couldn’t kill Mildred, after all.

Yes, though I can't see why the ghosts would be upset with that; they were all murdered and held prisoner by Mildred, after all.
