I just ran this amazing module (https://forums.giantitp.com/showthread.php?379253-Helloween-(a-quest)), adapted for 5e, for the second time. I've adapted it featuring primarily Kobold Press Creatures (Pumpkin King? Heck yes. Pact Lich (warlock that becomes a lich)? Sure, why not!
The first time, one of the players twigged immediately, catching on as soon as I mentioned Lady Lucinda Van Pelt.
This time around, no one had a clue until the end, resulting in a chorus of the table simultaneously cursing and cheering my name.
