(Spoilers for curse of Strahd)
So I wanted to share this, and maybe get some feedback. This is my first draft of a song I plan to (badly) sing when my players make it to Vallaki, as part of the festivities there. The inspiration and tune is Voltaire's 'The Beast of Pirate's Bay' (and if you don't know Voltaire, seriously check him out, as half his stuff works for D&D lol).

Some say he's a Curse
Sent from Mother Night
We forgot her worship, focused solely on the light
Now his teeth are as sharp as axes
And his thirst for blood will never cea-se
So if you want to stay safe there’s only- one- way- to- know- peace!
So don’t you fear and don’t be sad and certainly don’t be grim
Cause if you invite his kind in you’ll wind up inside of him
He’ll drink your blood and turn your corpse
Be safe here and be glad!
Heed the warning now “Beware
The man called devil Strahd!”
Some Say he’s a real devil
That came here straight from hell
Sent to punish our ancestors or so the stories tell
Perhaps it was your grandfather
Or perhaps it could be mine
No matter who the sinner was
We’re stuck with Strahd for all of time
So don’t you fear and don’t be sad and certainly don’t be grim
Cause if you invite his kind in you’ll wind up inside of him
He’ll drink your blood and turn your corpse
Be safe here and be glad!
Heed the warning now “Beware
The man called devil Strahd!”
Saint Andral, you know him
He came to this very spot,
To help wipe out all the evil and purify the rot,
He challenged that old vampire, to at last take him do-wn
There was a crunch, and a scre-am!
And now the saint’s holy bones are buried in our town!
So don’t you fear and don’t be sad and certainly don’t be grim
Cause if you invite his kind in you’ll wind up inside of him
He’ll drink your blood and turn your corpse
Be safe here and be glad!

Well, Saint Markovia,
You know why she’s revered,
She came the closest to killing Strahd ever since he appeared,
They both fell from the tower, but only he could turn to mist,
Now her body’s in his crypt and our captor does persist
So don’t you fear and don’t be sad and certainly don’t be grim
Cause if you invite his kind in you’ll wind up inside of him
He’ll drink your blood and turn your corpse
Be safe here and be glad!

Now, my friends, a secret I tell you with glee.
A story a drunk vistani once told unto me.
They claim the devil can be killed if you use the treasures thre-e
But what those treasures are is still a mys-ter-y.
Some claim a stake to the heart would end his evil reign,
Others say a bath of holy water would also do the same.
Still my money’s on needing the Morning Lord’s holy light,
But good luck trying to end him, without him putting up a fight!
So don’t you fear and don’t be sad and certainly don’t be grim
Cause if you invite his kind in you’ll wind up inside of him
He’ll drink your blood and turn your corpse
