Blood Horse Disguise

So, I'm designing a character with a blood horse (from DrM#299) as a mount. but I am running into the obvious obstacle of its rather disturbing appearance drawing unwanted attention and possible ire.

My question then is rather simple, what would be a good way to disguise them as a normal horse, any suggestions are welcome be they magical or mundane or if there is a specific magic item that would work that i just missed or something easy like that then all the better.

Add horseshoes of flame ontop. Now your horse has an INT score of 16 and is probably more intelligent than most people around. Maybe including yourself. Name him MR. ED (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6GAbc5uQXJo)and ask him for advice all day long^^
