Our IRL GM is planning a new game set in Faerun with connections to a multiverse of other gameworlds up to and including 3.0, 3.5, PF, and 3rd party with permission. Game starts at 3rd level, no gestalt, mythic, or epic. No Spheres either.
And NO divine magic or gods. Zero divine spells can be cast.
That said, I'm currently planning to play a Warforged Amalgam (https://www.d20pfsrd.com/bestiary/monster-listings/templates/amalgam-creature-cr-special/#:~:text=The%20amalgam%20template%20can%20be,creat ed%20by%20a%20magical%20accident.)Dvati (Dragon Compendium) with the Degenerate (https://aonprd.com/MonsterTemplates.aspx?ItemName=Degenerate) and Young (https://aonprd.com/MonsterTemplates.aspx?ItemName=Young) templates. Would essentially buy off the Degenerate and Young templates with my first two class levels. (We use the CR as ECL rules (https://aonprd.com/Rules.aspx?Name=Monsters%20as%20PCs&Category=Bestiary) from PF.)

Its the class options I'm working on for now. Was considering working on an item/Construct crafting Necromancer. The Amalgam template lets me make Constructs of Undead. The Greater Humanoid Essence Template lets me infect Constructs with Undead templates. And there's at least one golem ghost in a 3.x web supplement somewhere. Plus there are a few Constructs that are just natively constructed from the dead bits of other creatures/living things. Wood Golem, Bone Golem, Flesh Golem, etc.

It's a niche I'd previously sworn off for plot reasons that never came to fruition. And as it has been literal years now I figure I should break the seal on the idea of a necromantically powered artificer type character and run with it. And 3.P is the ideal playground for such IMO.

So, ideas, suggestions and advice are as always welcome. As I have more ideas I'll drop them here.
IRL rules guru of our group suggested Dread Necromancer. That's all I have so far.

Well... I'm going to need sources for like half the stuff you said.

Having said that, I will give my two cents about dread necromancer... don't do it, unless you start high enough level and are going into full minionmancy route, and I mean FULL minionmancy as a normal army should still be large enough in HD cap for whaterver you plan on doing... go Death Master from Dragon Compendium. At level 20 will also give you the lich template for free (whithout requiring you to be humanoid at the moment) which will more or less give you everything that Dread Necromancer has been giving you over the last 20 levels.

So if both turn you into a lich at the end of the day? which advantage does Death Master have? Medium BAB, better prepared list with earlier access to undead making, a minion from level 1, no class features that overlap with the corpsecrafter feats and a way to destroy minions as a free action triggering the feat that makes them explode and heck! even better HD in case you are not going to turn undead until later.

Added some source links to the OP. Hope that helps explain what I'm getting into better.

We use a flat +3 CR for the Amalgam template as a base and adjust from there using PFs CR calculation rules (https://aonprd.com/Rules.aspx?Name=Monster%20Creation&Category=Bestiary). They are nicely robust but I am rubbish at implementing them so I have not evaluated the expected CR of a Warforged Amalgam Dvati yet.
