In order to not rely on spellcasters dumping their leftover spells at the end of the day, what are the most cost efficient items for a Spellfire Channeler to stock up on to drain for recharging?

If you have drain permanent item, sovereign glue is your best bet iirc. Big CL, low cost

Of the top of my head, for charged items wands, for permanent items a 1st-level Pearl of Power (1,000GP, CL17).

Edit: scratch that, Universal Solvent, 50GP, CL20.

Interesting that it isn't detailed how much there is of it like sovereign glue. Looks like someone goofed on the editing.

Leadership at higher levels can grant you a psion minion with the soul crystal power, which allows your minion to craft psionic items with charges you can drain, and for zero material cost. It requires a feat (you), a power known (your minion), and power points (also your minion). If your minion also has the quintessence power, soul crystals can be stored indefinitely.

Given the much lower price and the lack of a number of uses specified, I'd assume you get one use for 50GP. But you're right, they really should have said that.

I still love Zaq's build (https://forums.giantitp.com/showsinglepost.php?p=19850581&postcount=177) from this Iron Chef, as a way to really max out Spellfire Channeler. He lists some items for draining as well.

What items would be cheaper than say a healing belt? Healing is both charged (charges/day touch healing) and a permanent magic item (continuous +2 to heal).

I really like this build (https://forums.giantitp.com/showsinglepost.php?p=25235980&postcount=132) from a different IC -- turns out it's also by Zaq. XD It's a good example of how Spellfire Channeler can pair with other classes (out of all things, Shining Blade of Heironeous is the main "other class" here) by "recycling" underused/wasted features into damage or healing for later. Basically, you can find ways to create more spellfire using your character's very own features, allowing for solo channelers.

Yes, that one's awesome as well!
