Does anyone have a link they could post or DM me that has a relatively complete listing of 3.5 spells broken down by class list and level?

IMarvin is pretty good, and because they don't give out full descriptions, falls into fair usage I believe.

http://www.imarvintpa.com/dndlive/Index_Class_Desc.php?Class=Beguiler

https://www.imarvintpa.com/dndlive/Index_Class_Desc.php?Class=HB

etc.

...can't find an index through, only individual lists by searching Google...

That is fantastic thank you.

Yeah, I'll second IMarvin. I will note that there's some oddities throughout (I've noticed that the given spell levels don't always match up with Spell Compendium's levels; instead, they're usually attached to an earlier set), but it's quite complete and very useful. :D

In this formidable ressource (https://minmaxforum.com/index.php?topic=11953.0) you can find all spells sorted by spell lists.
You do need to look them up elsewhere for details though.
Finally there is a v5.02 somewhere of the specific word SPELL LISTS but I can't remember where I found it.

I don't have a complete list, but I do keep a "best spells not in the PHB or SpC" list. Obviously "best" is somewhat subjective, but I'll post it if you're interested.

Yeah, I thought Imarvin's lists were complete but recently I discovered they weren't when doing a search. I don't know of a better one offhand though.

Don't use those links! I downloaded one and got a "this contains virus or malware" message.

Windows has an overzealous policy against anything containing ".exe" stuff... But hey, you do you ^^

You've downloaded them from those links and they were safe?

I've downloaded lots of files from various D&D message boards and I've never got that message before, so it's not like my virus scanner pings for everything.

Yeah I got mine from minmax forum.
Windows evolved in between your different downloads and it's not so much a question of source but rather a kind of file that triggers it. Typically .exe files (like idk which hero builder program they have in the Encyclopedia)

OK thanks, I've scanned them with AVG and they came up clean.
