Hey everyone, simple question.

Would the Parasite Enlarged Size Evolutions stacks with Behemoth's Flesh chest bind? My guess is no because both are Extraordinary but I might be wrong. Thanks in advance for your time!

You didn't properly tag this but i'm assuming PF, because parasite.

Size increases never stack unless they say they do (of which I am unaware of a single example).

The Behemoth's Flesh (https://libraryofmetzofitz.fandom.com/wiki/Behemoth%27s_Flesh) akashic veil actually says it stacks with magical size gains.

Which is a bit of a problem, since "magical" is not actually a term within the game rules, and seems fiddly. Are psionics supposed to be magical here, or only when transparency is the rule? As an example.

My assumption of rules as intended would be it stacks with spell effects, spell-like and supernatural abilities, which Enlarged Size is not.

Off the top of my head, Goliath mountain rage is untyped, then enlarge monster or divine might (whatever that cleric spell is) should stack.

Alright, there's two things going on here.

One: size increases never stack unless they say they do (https://paizo.com/paizo/faq/v5748nruor1fm#v5748eaic9t5u), regardless of type. The idea that you can stack different types has no basis in the rules.

Two: the author of that veil doesn't understand the relevant rule, and falsely wrote that it will stack because it's of a different type. See pre-fix potion glutton (https://sites.google.com/site/pathfinderogc/feats/general-feats/potion-glutton?overridemobile=true) for a similar example of rules knowledge fail in 1pp.

The text of the veil is written with the false belief that they can stack, and giving reminder text offering that false belief. It will not stack, because size increases don't stack (unless they say they do, which it doesn't).

Ok I understand this but I have a question. What if you use the Enlarge Person spell on a humanoid who is Gargantuan by default?

It does exactly what the spell says it does. They become whatever is one step larger than gargantuan, take appropriate size penalties/reach/space, and also the size adjustment to ability scores the spell says (+2 str and -2 dex?). Why the confusion?

Was asking for clarification.
