Starting with the necessary details

1st of course they must be able to be played by one player and no gm. It doesn't need to be specifically made for that it just has to be possible.

2ed i don't want to control multiple player characters at once. I already have to play the npcs as well.

3rd no cards since i don't have any.

4th must not require too much resource tracking to play. So preferably no meta currencies.

5th must be able to be played without miniatures

6th must be able to stat npcs on the fly. Or have statting up npcs not be necessary

Now the rest are just preferences but not necessary

7th it'd be nice if it was generic

8th if it has a magic system I'd like it to be simple but flexible

Also no need for a solo generator if the game doesn't have 1. I have a d6 table just in case.

"Books you are the hero of" fits all the criteria you mentioned.

Sounds like a dream system to me. Been trying to design a system like this since I was a kid. Ive been experimenting on this for years. Found things that work, and some that don't.

The FU (Freeform Universal) RPG does everything you're looking for (at least the first edition does; I'm not too familiar with the second edition - I'm not even sure if it's done yet).

It's also extremely rules light, which may or may not be what you're interested in.

STaRS (link in my signature) should work for you on all counts-- it's simple, generic, has no problem with solo play, no resources to track, can be played with just a single d10, does improv well, and doesn't even really have stats for NPCs.
