Hello, about the Dread Necromancer and Walker in the Wastes, as well as any other classes that give you templates... Do you also gain the LA/CR adjustments?

Thanks.

No, the traits are paid for over time as class features.

Edit: It's also in the FAQ in the prestige classes section referring to dragon disciple, but it states that it applies to all classes and prestige classes that add a template onto a character.

The classes themselves grant you the templates, albeit gradually. The powers of the templates are considered to be class features, and as such are subsumed in the normal CR for adding class levels.

Also applies to Dragon Disciple (Half-Dragon). But yeah, no LA needed.

Alrighty, it's true - except about Walker in the Waste, which gains the template all at once. The sample ones have the CR adjustment included.

The CR adjustment applies, but the LA doesn't.

Sadly, for the Walker in the Waste, it does. The 10th level just gives you the ability to acquire the template, you don't automatically get it.
