Help with a build

So i was trying to come up with the mechanics for a character who has judicious use of fabricate, using it to solve most of his problems, kinda like the alchemists in full metal alchemist. Anyways, i don't really know what the most effective build would be, so i was thinking transmuter 3/psion3/ cerebremancer 10, or would it just be better to go straight psion (shaper) to get more power points for psionic fabricate + greater version?

I don't know anything about "Full Metal Alchemist," but if you're just looking for a guy that makes stuff, try the Artificer from Eberron.

If that's not what you want, I like the idea of a going straight Psion (Shaper), since most of those dual-advancement classes (Cerebremancer, Mystic Theurge, etc.) are usually considered pretty bad.
