Or was it themed like stygian ice or something? For those who haven't tried the Neverwinter MMO, pretty much strong 'magical' weapons and armor (no idea on stats conversion), but can decay over time and gradual exposure corrupts a person's being toward madness and such. I don't own the original adventures or the Icewind dale game that first featured this to start to draw stats from.
