"The bargaining takes at least 1 round, so any actions by the creature begin in the round after it arrives. "
Question 1: When the summoner has finished the 10 minutes cast, but before the payment and terms have been negotiated, does the creature physically travel to the summoner's location? or is the negotiation process occurring via some kind of inter-planar telepathy during the 10 minutes of casting time and the one round after it arrives is meant to be for the transfer of payment to finalize the bargain?
Question 2: if the answer to previous question is the negotiation only begins after the ten minute casting time and is done in-person, should the negotiation time count toward the duration of the service when tabulating the payment. ie. What if the summoner's is taking 20 minutes just to explain what he wants? does that mean the payment is now the minimum of 1 hour per level, even if the service the summoner wants are some intricate series of contingent actions that will all actually be resolved in under 5 minutes once undertaken? or is the 100xp (or 500g in pathfinder) meant to be the down payment for the bargaining time?
