I have a question about a certain Yu-Gi-Oh deck. Is the Arcana Force deck good or not?

It’s awful.
Far too random.

Arcana Force XXI: The World was the only playable Arcana Force card, and that was many, many years ago at this point. Even then it was a pain in the ass to use; too hard to summon, too random once you do summon it, but it is basically a 50/50 chance of winning on the spot.

But since then cards with similar effects but easier to summon have been printed, like Amorphactor Pain (https://yugioh.fandom.com/wiki/Amorphactor_Pain,_the_Imagination_Dracoverlord), which is still not very good, but is used in some less common Drytron builds (a strong deck that's fallen off a bit in the last year or so).

At this point, there is no reason to play Arcana Force as a deck (honestly, there never was), and even its one good card has been powercrept...by another card that also isn't very good, but is still infinitely more playable.

The World was never playable, not even in rogue tier. It was purely a jank deck.

It was more playable than the rest of the deck. Like yeah it was never really god, but it was "good" in comparison to everything else.

Cimo played The World OTK against against a Watt deck in History of Jank and got absolutely crushed in a clean 3-0. He didn't even have a chance. Being technically more playable than the rest of the archetype doesn't make it good.

I haven't watched History of Jank yet (still chewing my way through the main History of Yugioh series, up to The Mermail Saga ATM), so thank for the spoilers. =/

(JK mostly I just thought it was funny.)

But yeah that's the deal with highroll-y decks.
