First time posting here and would like some thoughts and possibly insights.
I'm wanting to make a female dwarven chef to travel with the party for a campaign our group's starting. My thoughts for this so far are:
1. She's VERY territorial about the kitchen she's in. As in if she thinks someone's in the way, she would physically throw them out the door while yelling "YOU'LL EAT WHEN IT'S GOOD AND READY, NOW GIT OUTTA MY KITCHEN!"
2. I was thinking that in combat, she could potentially use kitchen impliments for certain weapons and armor. Some ideas would be a rolling pin would be equivalent to a club or mace (depending on if she has a wooden, or even mable or stone one), the knives are essentially daggers, the carving knife might be a short sword, cleaver like a handaxe or battleaxe, meat tenderizer like a light hammer, and skillet would be like either a heavy mace or possibly heavy steel shield.
3. For skills, of course there would be the obvious: Survival, craft, and profession, with some knowledges.
So far I was thinking of giving her 1 lv barbarian for the rage (would help getting people out of her kitchen) and a couple levels of fighter or monk.
I've had a person mention Kensai, but I don't really see the draw or appeal to it much, but at the same time, wouldn't mind some kind of PrC
