We started with 4, not 3. How close together are they for AOE purposes, and how many did I tag with my initial Shatter?

Yep that's my bad. There's 4 of them still. You got 2 with shatter. The two heading out pursuing you guys are pretty close together. One is pursuing the paladin and the last one is at the waters edge with the barbarian restrained.

First impressions:

+ for a forum rpg its pretty quick to resolve as you don't have to wait for others to post their action
+ there are less decisions for you to make beyond identifying your target and getting to it
+ mounted combat gains a boost as you can have your mount act just when you need it to - even during your own action

- it's a lot harder to visualize the battle
- a lot of initiative abilities are now obsolete and some mechanics like gloomstalkers first strike no longer trigger
- there is no way to avoid damage by tactical movement - hit and run mechanics are out

Hey, the crocodile has disadvantage on attack rolls to Vai. Because of Blur. Otherwise, I wouldn't have risked getting hit.

Bite still misses. Tail still hits. Thanks for calling it out though. I'll make sure to roll the disadvantage for any further rolls as well.

Probably a reasonable time for a rules question. Great Weapon Master grants a bonus action attack on the same turn if you KO an enemy. When does that attack trigger with simultaneous initiative?

First impressions:

I really don't know where anyone is at this point, so AOEs are mostly out except for line effects where I can say "I move to hit 2 of them."

I'm going to get a map setup for the next combat I think. I feel like movement has been working good as far as targeting single attacks but ya aoe are difficult without the map.

Vape's AC is 16 (Mage Armor cast in first IC post). I don't know how to get D&D Beyond to display the Mage Armor AC boost while active.

Oh, sorry about that. Adjust the damage, I'll keep it in mind for the future.

Also the humunculus is fine given the disadvantage rolls.

I would say it triggers on your next turn. Cause they technically no don't go down until the end of the turn.

Don't forget the Faerie Fire giving advantage on attacks vs. dragon... unless it LR'd out, which I don't recall seeing.

Yeah, to be fair, I'm not convinced that this way of handling combat is actually that beneficial (maybe it has some merit around a real table, but for a pbp where you by default have some form of action and reaction it falls short)
