So, this is a long-shot, but you know how from MM IV onward (when the horrible "new" stat blocks were introduced), monster entries had some sample Knowledge check results, and what kind of info the PCs would get on the monster?

I vaguely remember a community project where people came up with similar for the MM1/SRD monsters. I can't remember if it was here, Enworld, or the WotC forums.

If anyone can help me find it, I would be extremely grateful!

Cheers - T

There was a very good user made list of monsters and their knowledge DC info checks over at the WotC forums, pre overhaul (of the forums). It had the majority of monsters released pre MM IV, or whenever they started including info checks under the monster descriptions.

I can't find it now.

..when I'm on my home PC, I'll see if I can find it in any of my old bookmarks.

Here we go...found it! I find this incredibly useful...(must remember to save an offline copy):

Memory is the second thing to go. Can't remember the first... :smalltongue:

Glad I'm not the only one who hated them...

Thanks! LOL, it's surprising how often that happens. I'm like one of those absent minded wizards in the D&D novels.

I'm putting it in my extended sig before I lose it again!

Not just you and I: I've seen a quite a few people say similar.

I just find them a lot less intuitive than the earlier 3.5 stat blocks.
