I personally think it looks great and much in line with the books, and am seeing it this weekend.

I really like the way in that they did the cutting between the worlds in the preview too.

Very nice. Looks like it should be a pretty good adaptation. I don't remember anything about all but one of the alethiometers being destroyed, however, and the voice-over explaining the parallel universes seemed a little ham-fisted to me. I would have scrapped the voice-over entirely and shown all the info later - seems a bit too early to be telling so much. Nonetheless, it looks good.
