I'm hoping to find some examples of such to fiddle with in a homebrew mixup setting.

There are a couple which come to mind:
Shadow Templar, from athas.org
Riftwalker, from Goodman's Dragonmech

Also, if someone happens to readily know of a good index of d20 OGL publications I'd be delighted to have that shared.

By OGL, do you mean third party content? Or first party content that is open under the OGL? If its the latter, I think only the core rulebooks and psionics handbook are under that
