Quite awhile ago, I was going though content and found an entry on animals that could transform into humans. Can't seem to find the entry again or remember the name.
Any help would be appreciated.

Skinwalker player race and Kitsune can transform. Perhaps in some cosmology, that race originated as animals that were awakened and turned humanoid?

You could give your familiar the Fey-Touched template, which lets it change shape at will into your race.

Wizard (First World Caller) or Improved Familiar adds the template to the familiar.

The feats Shapeless Familiar -> Changeling Familiar, adds the same capability.

Were you on D20PFSRD? Over the years they have accrued the (very bad) habit of mixing 3rd party throughout official content. You might have stumbled into Necromancer Games' Therianthropes (https://www.d20pfsrd.com/bestiary/monster-listings/templates/therianthrope-cr-varies-tohc/).

The Jackalwere (https://www.aonprd.com/MonsterDisplay.aspx?ItemName=Jackalwere), perhaps?

A reverse werewolf? That would be... a "Flower? Ew.".

I think older editions may have called them a wolfwere?

I'm not positive but I'll believe it was Therianthropes.
Thanks to everyone for tossing possibilities in. Very much appreciated!

1e and AD&D had wolfwere which were werewolves but the natural form is reversed. Mechanically you can literally just do the same.
