Welcome to the Who Needs Swords or Sorcery? Voting Thread!

5e Base Class Contest: XXV (25)

Remember, anybody can vote! You don't need to have participated in the contest to vote here.

List your top two base class entry votes. (#1 is worth 2 points. #2 is worth 1 point.)
You may not vote for your own entry.
List your top three theme votes. (#1 is worth 3 points. #2 is worth 2 points, #3 is worth 1 point.)
The winner will be determined by most total points.
In the event of a tie, the winner will be decided by most #1 votes. If still tied and only one creator voted, that creator will be declared the winner. If both voted, the tie will stand.
Creators can't edit the entries during the voting phase.

Who Needs Swords or Sorcery? Design a class not focused on casting spells or making weapon attacks. Ever get tired of the same old hack and slash, spell-weaving nonsense of our beloved game? Now is the opportunity to change everything! Look around you and find mundane objects, realize their potential! Maybe your adventurer uses their clothes to ultimate effect on and off the battlefield. Make ultimate use of each tool in your backpack. Does your hair (or lack there-of) have any super-powers? Capture a day in the life of a diaper (yes, that's what I'm looking at now). Anything but that typical adventuring stuff!

Reading both classes was a lot of fun. Giving the edge to the apothecary because the combination of class & subclass felt more cogent to me.

1 Fool- have a friend that will love this and it feels like an archetype we don't see
2 Apothecary- took a little inspiration from this myself.

Class Votes:
#1. The Fool - I love this kind of incompetent but extremely lucky hero archetype, and it fits the theme of avoiding swords and sorcery really well.
#2. The Mystic Warrior - A very fun concept that I'd like to try out. I'm giving the edge to the Fool as I feel it fits the theme better.

Theme Votes:
#1. Monster Mash - Who's up for a Mind Flayer class? The Ceremorph
#2. Wall-Breakers - The Metagamer or The Cheater
#3. Be your Own Class - The Eldritch Knight?

1: The Fool
What makes this class incredible is that I know how it would play at a glance. It's simple, reasonable, and seems pretty balanced.

2: The Apothecary
While the idea of an applied chemistry class is great, it's just not as good as The Fool.

I don't want to vote on the next theme because won't be participating. (Unless you count a psychic class as playing a mind flayer)
