..at the time they decide to wildshape? Like I sympathize with wanting to do the totemic thing and have you pick the ONE ASPECT that resembles/reinforces your lifestyle/characterization, but honestly I was hoping for something like a druid's wild shape in terms of flexibility to the situation at hand. You know, like an Animorph. Anybody remember Animorphs? Being able to turn into a bunch of different animals on command is cool enough that it doesn't need full casting and an extra bear friend stapled to it the way a druid does, and I was hoping shifter would have realized that instead of doing what they did. Also they should get Thousand Faces sooner too.

No, even with buffing them to have Wild Shape better than a Druid (which currently they lack), they're still a relatively weak class, but at least fit their class flavor very well.
