Way of the Winds

Followers of the wind know no monasteries of brick and board. The great wide world and the winding roads are the only teachers needed. With this nomadic lifestyle comes an appreciation for freedom and disdain for those who would deny it to others.

-Disciple of the winds: At 3rd level, your mastery of breath allows you to move with the wind and direct it’s power. You gain the following benefits:
-Windspeaker: You gain the Gust Cantrip. Wisdom is your spell casting ability for this cantrip.
-Light of Foot: As a bonus action, you can levitate up to one foot off of the ground and move up to your speed. While this effect is active you are not slowed by difficult terrain. You can end this as a bonus action.
-Hands of the Gale: Your unarmed strikes are aided by blasts of wind granting them a range of 30ft.

-Voice of Thunder: At 6th level, you gain the ability to channel your Ki into a blast of thunder. As a bonus action, you can spend 2 Ki points to emit a 15ft cone of sonic force dealing 2d8 Thunder damage to anyone that fails a Dexterity saving throw, or half as much damage on a successful one.
This blast can be heard from up to 300ft away, and any unattended objects of medium size or smaller are thrown up to 10ft away.
You can strengthen this blast with your Ki. Each additional Ki point spent increases the thunder damage by 1d8. The maximum number of Ki points (2 plus any additional points) that you can spend on this ability equals half your monk level.

-Herald of the Storm: At 11th level, you gain the ability to strike with lightning and hammer with thunder. As an action, you can unleash a wild arc of lightning at an enemy within 120ft, followed swiftly by the deafening crack of thunder.
Make a ranged spell attack using Wisdom as your spell casting modifier. On a hit, the target takes 2d6 lightning damage, and all creatures within 30ft of the initial target must succeed on a Constitution saving throw or take 1d10 thunder damage.
You can increase the damage of this ability by spending Ki points. Each point you spend, up to a maximum of 3, increases the lightning damage by 2d6 and the thunder damage by 1d10.

-Severed Tether: At 17th level, the winds welcome you among them. You gain a Fly speed equal to your base speed. You are also able to hover.
