Does anyone have any monster duos or twins that have abilities that feed off each other.
One of the ideas I have floating thru my head for an encounter is for duo that makes the party consider how best to attack.
I havent gotten a stat block in mind (hoping for help) but what if one of this pair was scarred and weathered whilst the other was almost scar free. The former of these when hits gives a defensive boost to the other whilst the other gives an attack boost when hit. Hitme and Hitu just for laughs. The party will have to risk greater damage (from hitu) by going after hitme first, or risk making hitme nearly impossible to hit.
Alternatively one resists magic whilst the other resists physical duress.
Maybe when they are both doing something there is a benefit and its a case of distracting or preventing actions of one.
