3.5 Arcane Thesis vs Spell Resistance

So the Arcane Thesis feat in 3.5 Dnd includes this wording: "When casting that spell, you do so at +2 caster level." Would this increase to caster level apply to a caster level check to overcome a creature's spell resistance against the chosen spell?

Yes. Caster level checks are called for in some occasions other than that but mostly this occurrence

Yes, some caster level boosts specify that they only work for certain purposes, but this doesn't, so it works whenever your caster level affects something (range, duration, caster level checks etc). The only thing it doesn't do is give you more spells per day or spells known.
