Aligned Aura (spell)

Aligned Aura is a spell from complete champion that gives a bonus, then states "at any point" you can discharge the spell to gain another effect. It doesn't list an action to discharge the spell, would it be a free or immediate action since it says "at any point" ?

Aligned Aura is a spell from complete champion that gives a bonus, then states "at any point" you can discharge the spell to gain another effect. It doesn't list an action to discharge the spell, would it be a free or immediate action since it says "at any point" ?

Discharging a spell doesn't have a standardized action to it‚ so if nothing is said‚ then it is no action at all (useable even if it's not your turn‚ and doesn't cost your swift action).

This should probably be in the RAW FAQ thread‚ though.
