That's basically Vampiric Touch. But I don't think there's an equivalent at 1st level.

Bestow Wound from Heroes of Horror is a first-level HP draining spell accessible to wizards and sorcerers (and dread necromancers!). Deals 1 HP of damage per caster level and heals you for the same amount, but it can't damage more than you can be healed. Downside: it has a 10 GP material component.
