Hi guys im very new to the DnD world and im trying to find websites, apps, software literally any type of tool that will make my journey more easier and more organised because im struggling to keep everything organised lol.

So far all Ive found is an app called "Atomcal" that ive seen ALOT of communities use to host events, find teams, create calendar submissions and just loads really that also intergrates through their twitch accounts and discord servers. So after signing up and starting my monthly subscription to Atomcal its sorted out that part of my new world that is DnD so now Id like to know if anyone had any other suggestions for anything that can help streamline my journey even more.

thank you

The official tool is D&D Beyond (https://www.dndbeyond.com/), which has both a website and a mobile app version, and several useful tools like query filters and an integrated character builder. However, you need to purchase licenses to your books on that platform in order to use their associated content there; if you already own the books IRL this may be expensive or otherwise unattractive for you.

Nevertheless, you can give the free version a try which only contains free content like the Basic Rules and Sage Advice.

Some friends who swear by digital character sheets like this one. (https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.wgkammerer.testgui.basiccharactersh eet.app) In general, I recommend trying to build characters by hand as well, because you will pick up the rules faster.

At the start, I'd not spend a bunch of money and use the spreadsheet tool of your choice for character sheets and tracking information.

Though IMO it's most useful for 3rd Edition, Myth Weavers is a good site for character sheets for multiple games, including 5e, and has several other tools useful for D&D. Though again, a few tools are really only geared toward 3.5 D&D

Mythweavers (https://www.myth-weavers.com/) is a site that I use for character sheets. You need an account, but it's totally free.

I like using MadBeard's fill-able pdf sheet that's available on https://dnd5echaractersheets.com/
That way I keep things updated digitally, but can print when needed.
