3.P - Adding Weapon Abilities (Not Just Enhancement Bonus) to Spells?

The Arms & Equipment Guide (A&EG) has the sorcerer's hand, a crossbow that allows a caster to cast ray spells through it, adding its enhancement bonus to the spells' attack rolls.

Is there any way that one could add special weapon abilities to them, as well? Splitting, Explosive, and Exit Wounds would be fun additions to an Ocular Spell'd Melf's acid arrow, for instance.

Depends heavily on the ability themselves, the weapons, and any interacting abilities. A Mystic Ranger/Wizard/Arcane archer/shooting star sub level / etc. etc. could do a 'imbue arrow via arcane archer' fireball onto a splitting enchantment, arrowsplit spell cast, onto spell-storing - fireball arrow to pretty much launch lots of fireballs at an absurd caster level. Expensive as heck and can't be done too often. However, story-wise it would be like arcane dynamite on steroids.

The Genius Guide to Rune Staves and Wyrd Wands by Rogue Genius Games replaces the typical wand/staff system with magical implements that act as the equivalent of magic weapons for spell casting.

It's technically a different system, but it discusses converting weapon special properties into magical implement abilities.

So it's doable if your table is okay with third party material.

Sure. You'd need a Magus or another class with Spellstrike (i.e. the ability to cast spells through a weapon). The Magus can also use a swift action to add numerous abilities to his weapon; not these ones in particular, but it may be reasonable to spend a feat or arcana slot on that. A transmutation occultist can add any ability he likes, but as a standard action.
