We just killed a bunch of henchman of Vecna and no one will buy their gear from us. What can we do with it?

There are rules in the Book of Exalted Deeds about purifying evil magic items and artifacts, transforming them into good versions of themselves.

Alternatively? Just break them. If you won't use them and can't sell them, you won't get any use out of them and it may be better to destroy them.

How about to ritually sacrifice those items for some Good deity?

I mean: if Book of Exalted Deeds was used in resurrection of Orcus - then, maybe, those Evil items could be spent for something Good?..

I think the artificer clasd can break down magic items for xp to craft other items

Ancestral Relic feat can sacrifice anything to fuel enchanting their relic.

Samurai can do the same for their Ancestral Daisho class ability.

Anyone with either of those abilities ought to be perfectly willing - if not gleeful, to pay the usual half price you'd expect anywhere else.

Doesn't matter to them how evil it is.

And if you've been fighting servants of Vecna, odds are pretty good you're powerful enough to do some world hopping, so could get to one of those places where samurai are fairly common.

If the good aligned church that specialises in disposing of evil artifacts cant take care of it, but the players are somehow expected to manage it, that just strikes me as buffoon npc syndrome.
