Description. Petal Blights are created when a Seed Blight Swarm brings a spell casting creature near death. They appear as delicate stems with creeping tendrils and leaves at the base and delicate blossoms at the head. In the center of these blooms is a face reminiscent of the creature from which it is spawned but idealized and often uncanny. When it speaks the voice may come from many mouths among many such blossoms, or from only one. Whatever the color of its petals, they are unnaturally vibrant and seem out of place anywhere outside the Feywild. Careful inspection reveals the petals themselves bear a delicate script in one of their known languages.

Treasure. A Petal Blight's petals can be collected and used as they are as a Spell Scroll for the spells they know, or brewed for 1 minute into a tea creating a potion allowing the imbibing creature to cast the spell once during the next hour.
