Building a setting. One of the base design assumptions leads to the result that healing, because of cosmology that's very intrinsic to everything, is associated with aberrations and oozes, and not helpful with spirits. I'm trying to avoid full list T1 casters. I'll have to tweak, but does anyone know of any class/archetype combos that approach, can easily be tuned to, or are useful for that particular association of "icky slimy healer that doesn't do undead"?

The setting basically has an pole of no life full of incorporeal undead slowly coming to rest, with another pole of "too much life". Annoyingly, the design feels like it was built around "life AND death" rather than "life OR death", if that makes any sense.

Only thing that comes to mind is the Bloodbag Imp (https://forgottenrealms.fandom.com/wiki/Bloodbag_imp). It has that icky feeling, and you could reskin the thing by giving the same ability to an ooze of some sort, for example.

Look at Glimmerskin (MM2) (and at positive energy plan in general).
