I love my dogs. Let me reiteratethat... I LOVE my three dogs. Sometimes I wish I didn't love them so much.
Lucy: 14. My Schnorkie (Schnauzer/Yorkie mix). She loves me. I am the center of her universe. She is so excited to see me that she'll pee. Sometimes she'll hop in my lap and pee. Sigh...
Rascal: 4yo terrier of some kind (maybe some poodle. Scared the crap out of me today. We have a 3 foot gate at the top of the stairs. He decided he wanted downstairs and jumped over this. Still not sure how he didn't break everything.
And Jaxon. Ahh, Jaxon. Long hair chihuahua. The "agitator". We have dogs on either side of us. Jaxon's joy in life is to run to one fence, bark and work them up. Move to the other fence and work them up. Then sit in the middle of the yard barking enough to keep them barking at each other...
And of course, there's the mysterious gifts..
Me: OK, everyone go out and take care of business before we go to bed.
Dogs: OK, we're done and want in.
Me: That seemed awfully fast.
Them: No, we're good. Really.
Then at 3 in the morning....
What did I just roll over in? Maybe the kids left play-do in the bed....except I don't have kids.
Still, life would be much emptier w/o them.
