How's it going everyone. I am currently trying to think of an idea for a Rogue subclass, but every time I think of something I find a lot of iterations of the same thing. For instance, the Surgeon is a very common idea and while I could attempt to put a unique spin on it, it's been done enough I don't feel it would be worth the time. So I want to know, based on your experience, what are the most common homebrew Rogue subclasses for D&D 5e, that way I can avoid them.

Thank you in advance for your feedback.

I've seen Thug (Strength Rogue) as a fairly common one.

But honestly, I'd say do whatever strikes your fancy-if someone else has already done it, that's not a reason to not do it. It is a reason to look at what was done before and gain ideas, but if you want to make a Surgeon subclass, I say do it.
