Say you have a Tempest Cleric 6/Sorcerer 7 and you cast Fire Wall using Metamagic Transmuted Spell to change the damage type to Lightning.
Question 1: Does Thunderous Strike bounce back any enemies trying to pass through your wall, assuming the caster is on the safe side?
Question 2: If so and you made a ten foot ring with the wall and encircled an enemy, would the knockback from the initial damage cause contact with the far wall and more damage and 10' more feet of movement, causing the enemy to end up 10' beyond the far side of the ring?
(Not infinitely bounced around the inside of the ring. That would take two such casters facing each other and each casting a transmuted fire wall 10' apart.)
Thunderous Strike
At 6th level, when you deal lightning damage to a Large or smaller creature, you can also push it up to 10 feet away from you.
Transmuted Spell
When you cast a spell that deals a type of damage from the following list, you can spend 1 sorcery point to change that damage type to one of the other listed types: acid, cold, fire, lightning, poison, thunder.
