Primordial Fire Patron

Your Patron is a creature of elemental fire from times long past. Your Patron has held power over mortals, and an interest in their services, from the very first moment your ancestors crowded around a campfire to fend off the cold and dark. A creature of primordial fire’s motivations are often quite simple. Like a flame you must grow, consume, and spread. It is often left up to the Warlock as to how they use their power. Will your fire cleanse, purge, destroy, or protect?

Expanded Spell List: The Primordial Fire lets you choose from an expanded list of spells when you learn a Warlock spell. The following spells are added to the Warlock spell list for you:

Primordial Fire Expanded Spells
Spell Level Spells
1st Burning Hands, Faerie Fire
2nd Scorching Ray, Aganazzar’s Scorcher
3rd Fireball, Melf’s Minute Meteors
4th Fire Shield, Wall of Fire
5th Flame Strike, Immolation

-Cinder Tongue: At 1st level, you gain the ability to speak primordial (Ignan).

-Primordial Furnace: Starting at 1st level, your chest glows hot and bright with the power of primordial fire. You become resistant to Fire damage, and gain the ability to convert the damage type of your cantrips into fire damage. Additionally, whenever you cast a spell, of 1st level or higher that deals damage, you can lace that magic with your fire to deal additional damage. At 1st level you deal an additional 1d4 fire damage. This increases by 1 die size at 4th level (1d6), 8th level (1d8), 12th level (1d10), and 16th level (1d12).

-Growing Inferno: Starting at 6th level, the furnace trapped in your rib cage fills you with a power you can barely contain. You gain resistance to Cold damage. Any Fire damage that you deal burns hot enough to ignore Fire Resistance. This increase in intensity, at DM’s discretion, may ignite flammable objects within 20ft of the affected targets.

-Herald of Cinders: Starting at 10th level, you learn the spell Summon Elemental. It counts as a Warlock spell for you, but it does not count against the number of spells that you know. This spell always summons a fire-based elemental. Once per long rest you can cast this as a 5th level spell without expending a spell slot. You may cast this as a 7th level spell at 13th level, an 8th level spell at 15th level, and a 9th level spell at 17th level. Damage can not break your concentration on this spell. No material components are required to cast the spell in this manner.

-Fire Lung: When you reach 14th level, you can draw in a great breath, expand your lungs to unthinkable dimensions, and exhale a 60ft cone of scouring fire. Each creature in that area must make a Dexterity saving throw, taking 10d10 fire damage on a failed save, or half as much damage on a successful one. Once you use this ability you must complete a short rest before using it again.

Faerie Fire feels a little out of place.
Rest of the spells look fine.

Add Resistance to Fire damage on Primordial Furnace-currently, your only combat benefit is "Add 1d4 fire damage to 1st level spells," which is underwhelming.
Also, specify what happens if the spell doesn't normally deal damage-like Faerie Fire.

Growing Inferno could use another bit, since you should move Fire Resistance to 1.

I would not make you immune to losing Concentration via damage for this spell. That just feels like overkill.

Fire Lung compares directly to Hurl Through Hell. Both do 10d10 damage.
Hurl Through Hell has the following bonuses: Psychic damage, can't fail (as it's a rider on an attack).
Fire Lung has the following bonuses: 60' cone instead of single-target, ignores resistance to damage, recovers on a short rest.

Resistance to Fire will be way more common than Psychic Resistance, and honestly, you'll probably see more Fire Immunity than Psychic Resistance.
But being able to snag every enemy with 10d10 damage, save for half, every short rest, is MASSIVELY better than once per long rest adding 10d10 with Hurl Through Hell.

-Honestly at that level I couldn’t find another Fire themed spell other than faerie Fire. There is Hellish Rebuke but that’s already in the warlock list.

-Reworded Primordial Furnace and moved Resist Fire to level 1.

-Reworded Growing Inferno and scaled it so that you can deal half damage against Fire immune creatures, and then ignore Fire immunity later.

Did I just overpower it?

I would not give half-damage to immune foes at level 8, and I'd never give it the ability to entirely ignore it.

Looking back on it I feel like I agree with that
