A while back I made a post about improving golems found here (https://forums.giantitp.com/showthread.php?642986-Improving-Golems).

Now I have sort of been away from D&D a while but I have come back to this a bit and I found something which I could not find the rule for.

Specifically, the DR on Shadesteel Golems. I cant find a rule for how it scales. The medium sized on has 10/ Adamantine and Magic while the large has 15/ Adamantine and magic. I would then assume a huge shadesteel golem has 20/ adamantine and magic, but I cant seem to find it anywhere...

Can anyone help?

Cheers!

Whatever the author felt like.

Yeah, there's a general principle that tougher (higher CR) golems generally have stronger DR (in terms of amount, what's needed to overcome it, or both), and it depends on the material of the golem too, but those are both just general guidelines, not codified rules.

And if there aren't any stats for a huge shadesteel golem, that might even mean that they can't exist at all. Or if you're the DM and decide that they do exist, then you're homebrewing, and they have whatever stats you decide they do.

Note: Greater Stone Golem (https://www.d20srd.org/srd/monsters/golem.htm#stoneGolem) and Advanced Flesh Golem (https://web.archive.org/web/20130531123537/http://www.wizards.com/default.asp?x=dnd/eo/20040904a) are both got the same DR as their "base" versions

I'm tempted to say DR of Greater Shadesteel Golem is a typo, but it may be just one more time when Shadesteel Golem is just better...

Hmm that might be... Also, what determines the natural armor of the Golems? Would the natural armor not increase as well when going up in HD?

Apparently, both Greater Stone Golem and Advanced Flesh Golem got +3 AC (although can't be sure with Flesh Golem - it don't listed natural AC separately)
Thus, looks like the standard effect when Size Increases (https://www.d20srd.org/srd/improvingMonsters.htm#sizeIncreases) from Large to Huge
